New Shield's Lead Lined Doors are constructed with the finest workmanship and highest quality materials available. From X-Ray room doors to industrial track sliding doors, we custom fabricate each door to meet your specifications. Select from hollow metal or solid core wood doors.

FEATURES

Each Single Door Assembly includes: Knock Down or Hollow Metal door frame, Hinges with mortising, 1 Passage or Privacy Latchset with mortising.

DOOR MORTISING

New Shield can machine for any hardware need in the door of your choice. For Double Doors, each assembly also includes: Additional hardware & mortising for the second door, Top & Bottom Flush Bolt, Lead lined wood or metal strip for astrigal.

Latchsets – Quality cylindrical type latch sets for doors, finished in dull chrome lead lined

	Ball Bearing Hinges Designed for heavy doors receiving average use
	Heavy Duty Ball Bearing Hinges Designed for very heavy doors receiving average use
	Pivot Hinges Top & Bottom Designed for very heavy doors receiving heavy use. These hinges allow the floor to carry the weight of the door and to swing freely
	Pivot Hinges Middle Used in conjunction with top and bottom hinges, prevents door warping and increases load capacity

SPECIAL NOTES
The amount of shielding necessary in a door is equal to the shielding required in the wall in which it is to be installed. For a complete door unit, add a Door Assembly to the selected door. All laminations are done under pressure.

BUTT HINGE MORTISE	FLUSH BOLT MORTISE
Standard butt hinge mortise for wood & metal doors. Dimensions: 4-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 3/16"	Includes a top and bottom mortise for 1 pair of flush bolts in a wood or metal door. This mortise comes complete with lead inlay, eliminating the need for special lead lined hardware.
